Plan 3 - Low Rate - Processing Equipment Credit - No Rewards Or Business Cards Surcharges

Businesses with under $10,000 in monthly charges and high reward and business card use should opt for Plan 3. Those who need equipment not offered in Plan 4 might choose Plan 3 for the unrestricted equipment credit for options such as Point Of Sale (POS) or mobile credit card processing options.

Plan 5 - Interchange Plus (IC+) Plan - Complicated System But Perhaps The Most Savings

Credit card processing rates all start with the fees charged by MasterCard, Visa and the associated banks. In most cases processors take into account this "Interchange" rate and quote an easy to understand rate that takes it into account. Rather than estimating and fudging, an IC+ rate simply charges a tiny percentage above the banks root rate for each transaction. A more complicated way of looking at things, but often this emerges as the processing plan that saves the most money.
